TERMS AND CONDITIONS “SINGER SEWING HEROES 2023 IN PARTNERSHIP WITH HOBBYCRAFT”

  1. Any individual over the age of 18 may nominate either themselves or some other person to be considered by the judges for recognition as a “Singer Sewing Hero”
  2. The nominee must live or have lived in the UK during the period for which they have been considered by the nominator as a “sewing hero”
  3. Nomination can only be made through the form on our website. You can nominate as many individuals as you wish but you may only nominate the same individual once although different nominators can nominate the same person. Bogod & Company Ltd are not responsible for any missed entries due to computer or other failure.
  4. Employees of Bogod Group Ltd, Singer Sewing Company, SVP Corporation, Hobbycraft Trading Ltd or any of their affiliates or subsidiaries cannot nominate or be nominated.
  5. There is no charge or payment required to either nominate or be nominated. However, nominators are expected to pay their own cost of connecting to the website.
  6. Nominations close at 8:00pm on 31st March 2023, although the judges at their sole discretion can accept late nominations.
  7. The winner or winners will be announced during the week commencing 24th April 2023
  8. The judging panel will be made up of representatives from Bogod & Company Ltd and Hobbycraft Trading Ltd. They will select up to three winners who will be declared “Singer Sewing Heroes in partnership with Hobbycraft 2023”.
  9. The judge’s decision is final.
  10. The winner or winners will receive a free Singer Sewing machine and a voucher from Hobbycraft. Full details of the value of the voucher and the model of machine will be provided to the winner(s) after they have been announced.
  11. By claiming the prize winners agree to allow their names and still or video images of them to be used in publicity or social media by Bogod & Company Ltd, distributor of Singer sewing machines in the UK, the Singer Corporation or Hobbycraft Trading Ltd. We will not provide these images to any third party.
  12. No correspondence on any of the rules above will be entered into.
